Flag Hunters Golf Podcast
Hello and welcome to Flaghunters ! It is a privilege to bring to you this powerful insight into playing better Golf. In all my years of being in the game of Golf from competing at a high amateur level, to caddying, teaching, and being a overall Golf geek, I have an insatiable, curiosity driven desire to get down to the bottom of what it takes to truly get better playing the game of Golf that we all unconditionally love. This has been one of the greatest journeys of my life and I am deeply grateful for all that Golf has given me. Thank you for joining me in this incredible journey. This is my ever evolving love letter to Golf. Jesse Perryman P.S. Please Rate, Review and Subscribe !

Why Aren't We Taught This In School ? An Enlightening conversation with Performance and Movement Expert Jayne Storey
Feel free to text me at (831)275-8804
Hello and welcome to THIS very special edition of the Flaghunters Golf Podcast ! Today we have Author of Breathe Golf and Connected Golf, Jayne Storey.Jayne is a 30 plus year practitioner of Martial Arts and is a Performance and Movement Expert.
So, I’ve got TWO fundamental questions. First, how do we get out of our own way ? We train to have a good swing. We work on our short game/putting. We train our bodies via weight training and mobility. We try to eat well. We get rest. We do all of the external things necessary to get our game in order.
SECOND QUESTION, HOW DO WE STAY IN THE PRESENT MOMENT ? I hear it all the time ! “You just gotta stay in the moment”…..HOW ?!?!?! Enter Jayne Story….
In the conversation, Jayne and i directly address these questions. There IS a way to enter into the “Zone” or “Flow”. One MUST train off the Golf Course and retrain the nervous system to best prime oneself to get into the all exalted zone. We hear it on Sundays from the various champions. “ I just got out of my own way”. Or, “ I didn’t think ahead or behind”. These two fundamental questions SHOULD be taught at an early age.
We cannot play our best if we have incessant mind chatter. We have to train our internal environment to be in a state of “ relaxed readiness “, as Jayne would say. Then once we learn these life affirming principles, we can access ALL the good work we’ve put in and have it show up when we want it to show up.
A big THANK YOU to Jayne for taking time out of her busy schedule. I would STRONGLY encourage you to visit her website at www.chi-performance.com. You can find me easiest @flaghuntersgolfpod on Instagram. Feel free to shoot me a note if you have any questions.
